Musing is such an interesting exercise. After all, isn’t that a way to express your awe or disgust over something that happens around you? Isn’t that a way you share your opinion on something? Isn’t that a way to pause and reflect about life as it was or as it is now? Isn’t that a way to chuckle, weep, praise or scream? I muse a lot. And there’s is enough evidence to prove that. India has won the 2011 Cricket World Cup and yes, it isn’t a dream! It is indeed a historic victory. What could be a better time than this to discuss cricket, India’s phenomenal affection for the game, the World Cup itself and of course all the euphoria after India finally lifted the treasured cup? There are times when you think too much about what’s happening to you and around you and broadly, life as such. Clarity plays a perfect hide and seek at such times and for me, the only way to clear the cobwebs of confusion out is to write my thoughts down – in a fictionalised form or otherwise. This has proved to be my biggest blessing. ‘In Conversation’ is an attempt to understand desire and suffering.
