In fiction, I particularly enjoy writing flash. ‘Flash Fiction Projects’ was an idea born out of the desire to blend flash fiction writing with a chosen theme or a certain backdrop. For instance, you will find below two projects, ‘Nine Food Moments’ and ‘Nine Rain Moments’ that explore the Navarasas or the nine human emotions through nine small stories – one each for each rasa, with food and rain as the backdrops, respectively. ‘Five Moments of Joy’ explores the theme of joy with the five elements of nature as the backdrop. You will also find projects with inspiration, music and conversations as themes. My focus on each of these stories within a project is achieving an emotional connect with the reader while not losing out on brevity.
