The coined word, ‘QueSTorieS’, is ‘quest’ and ‘stories’ blended together. These are small stories, byte-sized, born out of the quest to deconstruct a photograph through words. What’s different about the approach to QueSTories is the reversal of the sequence of creation. Mostly, it’s the story that’s born first with the photograph playing a supportive role, capturing and perhaps augmenting the essence of the tale. But with QueSTories, it’s the photograph that comes first. The picture is generally a chanced encounter, discovered during an odd search. It turns out to be so inspiring that it sets off in your mind, the desire to search for the tales lurking behind it. The chosen photograph could hide a million stories within but I tell that one tale that the photograph decides to reveal to me. Here’s telling the world one QueSTory at a time.
