“Poetry is what happens when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.” said Robert Frost. Nothing can sum up my relationship with poetry better. My poems are born when I intuitively feel that there’s no other way I can express a thought; if there’s one way, it has got to be poetry. I mostly write free verse and occasionally dabble in poetry with a rhyme scheme. My poems are simple and aren’t too layered. I don’t write poems too often but when I do, I enjoy it more than anything else.

Duality

February 21, 2006March 18, 2016

The duality of love – devilish possessiveness and strange detachment. Can these two coexist? I believe they can. It eventually depends on how one perceives the relationship and the person in question. A poem on this interesting perspective.
