The truth is…
As an adult,
Ganesh has never seen growth
never seen progress
never seen personal milestones.
Ganesh has always stalled,
always felt stuck.
Perhaps why, even
when a small seed that Ganesh planted,
sprouts, grows, blossoms,
or when the money plant
Ganesh placed as a small cutting,
grows for months on and
flaunts a fresh green leaf
full of promise,
Ganesh is startled that
such a thing is even possible…
That this is how growth looks like,
this is what progress looks like.
What kind of deep-seated trauma this is
that even a plant showing growth
feels so unreal
that Ganesh thinks,
“How is this possible? How?”
